Event Description:
The public is invited to come and learn about conservation and how to preserve, protect and maintain the environment at this FREE - Second Annual Event. This year’s event will include free, family-friendly activities such as nature walks and stream assessments. There will also be an American BBQ All-You-Can-Eat for $15/person. The event will take place rain or shine.
The BioBlitz Morris Nature Festival will feature environmental programs and activities for people of all ages including a reptile program by Eyes of the Wild, an aquatics program by Jenkinson’s Aquarium, the Grand Falloons and various nature programs and workshops. Last year’s early morning bird walk, sponsored by Wild Birds Unlimited of Denville, resulted in the identification of 37 different species of birds. It will be interesting to see what this year’s BioBlitz will bring.
