Centrally located in the Highlands of North Jersey, Morris County blends natural landscapes, a history spanning the Colonial era though the technological breakthroughs of the 20th and 21st Centuries, with charming communities and impressive corporate campuses.
Between 2010 and 2016, Money Magazine selected several communities in Morris County as among ‘The Best Places to Live.’
Situated 30 miles from New York City, the 469 square-mile county contains 39 municipalities with a population of a half million people. It is served by a network of interstate roads, and offers excellent bus, train and airport services.
The county is home to more than 50 Fortune 500 companies, several with corporate headquarters located within the county.
It has the state’s best county park system, encompassing more than 18,800 acres, 150 trail miles and 38 recreational sites.
Education also commands a leading role, with outstanding public and private schools. Fairleigh Dickinson University, the College of St. Elizabeth, Drew University, and the County College of Morris offer access to high-quality higher education.
